Regular treatment with the Express Extractions is recommended and ideal for easily congested and acne-prone skin, as it’s solely dedicated to clearing out clogged pores with gentle, yet effective, manual extractions to ensure proper treatment of chronic breakouts.

We start by massaging in a concentrated AHA/BHA treatment with steam to loosen up dead skin cells and build-up, setting the skin up for thorough and comfortable manual extractions. We then apply the Reaffirming Casmara Mask formulated with diatoms and marine algae extracts to balance, soothe, and draw out any remaining impurities. Finishing products, specifically chosen for your skin type, are then applied to prevent hydration loss and to protect the skin’s freshly exfoliated surface.

Perfect for those in search of that “glow from within”, the DermaGlow facial starts with dermaplaning to remove that top layer of dead skin cells and peach fuzz, leaving your skin feeling and looking radiantly smooth. Jojoba oil can be used while dermaplaning, on dry or dehydrated skin to avoid overly stripping the skin. Brief manual extractions are performed to further remove build-up. A gentle AHA enzymatic treatment is then applied for unparalleled antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. The NovaNew or Sensitive Casmara Mask is used to hydrate, nourish, and calm the skin from any inflammation. This perfectly balanced treatment is finished off with products to further nourish and protect the skin’s freshly exfoliated surface.

PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Avoid excessive sun exposure for 1 week before treatment
Avoid ablative hair removal methods (eg. waxing, laser hair removal, threading) 3-5 days prior to treatment
Discontinue use of active ingredients on the skin (eg. retinol, vitamin C, salicylic acid, AHA’s, benzoyl peroxide, hydroquinone, sulfur) 3-5 days prior to treatment
Ensure you have not taken Accutane for a minimum of 12 months prior to treatment
Ensure you do not have any active eczema, psoriases, cold sore, or other skin inflammatory flare ups in the area

post-care INSTRUCTIONS:

Avoid excessive sun exposure for 5-7 days following treatment
Avoid ablative hair removal methods (eg. waxing, laser hair removal) 5-7 days after to treatment
Discontinue use of active ingredients on the skin (eg. retinol, vitamin C, salicylic acid, AHA’s, benzoyl peroxide, hydroquinone, sulfur) 3-5 days following to treatment
Purging (developing breakouts) is common after some treatments, as impurities are brought to the surface of the skin

Appointment policies

If a client arrives 10-15 minutes later than their appointment time, we cannot guarantee treatment. If a client arrives 15+ minutes later than their appointment time, we cannot perform treatment and this will be considered a “no-show”.

Please try to give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours will be considered a “last minute cancellation”.

If a client has 2 or more “no shows” and/or “last minute cancellations”, we will require a $50 deposit per service before booking any future appointments. The deposit will be applied to treatment total. If a client cancels within 24 hours or does not show up to their appointment, their deposit will be forfeited. If the client books a pre-purchased service and shows up to their appointment, their deposit will be refunded after the appointment is completed.
